Basic (Budget)

1) Shotgun, 12 Gauge

Role:

Primary - Home Defense against Intruders

Secondary - Hunting small/large game animals

2) Large Bore Rifle, Legal Hunting Caliber, Semi-Auto

Role:

Primary - Sniping/Home defense

Secondary - Hunting ...

What you choose to fill your arsenal is largely dependent on your whole philosophy of what you are preparing for. Here are some possible scenarios:

FerFal's experience in living thru the economic crash of Argentina is a look at what may happen in the USA come the Free Fall. I think it will be much worse here than it was there when it finally happens, though I don't believe we will have a slow slide. Too many people think that .Gov will save them, even after the ineptitude displayed during the hurricane disasters of 2005. Ooopps. Now I'm on the ...

All things considered, the amount of ammo you need to store is directly tied to what your perception of what TSHTF will consist of and how you go about preparing for it. The amount of ammo required by a homeowner protecting ...

The sourdough starter is the basic ingredient for everything you will make that's called sourdough whatever. Sourdough is simply home-grown yeast! Given the hosts of flour and warm water, the yeast spores break down the starch into sugar, permitting fermentation to take place. In bread baking, the sourdough acts primarily as the leavening or raising agent. The sourdough base is often called a sponge and from ...

Rabbits are killed by one of two methods. The preferred method is dislocation of the neck. The rabbit is held firmly by the rear legs and head; it is stretched full length.
